I spent some time in a church yesterday
just to see if I could find something a little less mundane
and all seven eyes burned a hole in my back
"I'm sure you've had some good times" the priest kindly said
locked myself in a box that had two rooms
the air was comfortable, so I confessed my sins to you
spoke of a two horned demon, Jude, and my trials with the lord
who bears the mark of it's maker, makers mark help the weak speak in BOLD
spent some time in detention to brood over convictions of past
I met a man with a seal on his throat
he choked and went into relapse
I know it may be selfish, but I was distraught
because I needed a friend
so I held up my hands in defeat
and raised the white flag again
I spent some time down in London during the 18Th century
created a stir
when the townsfolk couldn't satisfy me
so I climbed the highest tower and sat right down on a clock
thought of the ones I loved
but love never came, for my heart is as still as a rock
tried to sleep in India
when the warriors decided to strike
I struck Alexander with a spear so his pulse would be the same as mine
I've watched castles crumble
I was there when the west was won
intellect doesn't matter when you're the culprit or criminal who's holding the gun
& money is just a number and a game when you're a dead man yourself
so I turned to the priest and I shot him
and left his widow with fortune and wealth

This is haunting and amazing. Your poetic voice is so clear, you paint pictures with words.
